There is always a consequence for sin, Because the Lord love us, He chastens us. His chastening is never to destroy us, but to remind us, that we belong to Him, and His plans for us are to give us a hope and a future.
In this Advent season, we can find hope in the arrival and life of Jesus. We can draw hope from God’s faithfulness in fulfilling His long-awaited promise of the Messiah. We can focus on the hope of God’s continued work in and all around us. And in the midst of whatever life is throwing at us, we can experience the hope of God’s Spirit within us.
Summary: Too many people are consumed with worry and anxiety about what tomorrow might hold. This fear can be paralyzing. As Christians we believe that our loving heavenly Father is always looking out for us. He takes care of the birds of the air and the flowers of the field and that gives us confidence that He will take care of us too. There is no benefit from worry, in fact, anxiety only hurts us. Let’s trust God and allow Him to guide our steps.
